Weekend One of the Family Yoga training was incredible! Kate and I co-taught the Prenatal/Postnatal module. Our first testimonial is already here:
30 Hour Family Yoga Teacher Training
Because pregnancy is really just the beginning of the family experience, why stop there? We thought it was time to offer a combined yoga teacher training that covered the expanse of prenatal, postnatal, mommy & me, toddler/family yoga, and kids yoga into one 30 Hour immersion split between two weekends at Light On Lotus in LA.
*(You also have the option of taking weekend 1 or 2 of the training independently, and for or those enrolled, this training counts towards the Light On Lotus 300-hour advanced training.)
Join Kate Duyn Cariati, Aria Morgan, and Jessica Jablonski for an in-depth exploration of how and what the range of “Family Yoga” is and can be shared mindfully in your community!

TEACHERS
Kate Duyn Cariati (Light On Lotus founder) has been teaching prenatal yoga since 2007, started teaching Baby & Me Yoga in 2010, and gave birth to her son in 2011. She has experienced the benefits of yoga during her own pregnancy as well as working with countless women throughout theirs and beyond, as they transition into motherhood with their babies and postnatal recovery, to chasing toddlers, to employing advanced yoga techniques in parenting young children ; )
Aria Morgan has been a Birth Doula for 6 years and assisted in the delivery of over 100 births. Her prenatal/postnatal teaching practice thrives on one fundamental principal: empowerment. There is an undeniable connection between the feelings of post-birth empowerment and preparation for labor, birth, and motherhood. As crucial as it is to feel GOOD in a growing, changing pregnant body, it is even more crucial to practice non-attachment. Birth is the one thing that neither you nor your OBGYN nor anyone else can control. Birth readiness is an art – it involves not only preparing for our dream scenario, but releasing our attachments and working through our fears of less than ideal scenarios. A dedicated yoga and meditation practice is a powerful tool to facilitate this process.
